Conical Projection - It is a cartographic projection in which the points located in the surface of a celestial body are projected on a cone that has its apex on a line perpendicular to the surface of the body at the pole, and its base as one of its parallels. There are two kinds of conical projection: simple conic and secant, also known as Lambert projection.
