Talent - Unit of mass used in the ancient world; different nations used it differently, however, it was defined generally as the amount of water (its mass) required to fill an amphora. For Babylonians, Sumerians and Israelites, a talent was divided into sixty 'mina', and each 'mina', in sixty shekels.
